Our Story
Hello. My name is Michelle Anne and I am the founder of Sweet Puspin Dessert Bar. Sweet Puspin's mission is to add to the culinary palate of Ottawa. Filipino desserts are under represented in this city and we hope to provide a variety of different flavours which include our flagship refreshment called Halo Halo. Its literal translation is mix mix. It is an ice milk refreshment you mix in a cup and is loaded with bright, fun, and sweet fixings including housemade ube or pandan ice cream, various colourful coconut jellies, coconut strings, jack fruit and sweetened beans. Fun for all ages. We aim to bring smiles to people's faces as they try new, fun and colourful flavours with a variety of textures to help cool you down on a hot summers day. It is a taste of Philippines in the heart of Ottawa.
